Creative solutions and new contacts when entrepreneurs were invited to Wargön Innovation
Can new circular ideas emerge by bringing together a bunch of creative entrepreneurs and creating a platform for new connections and collaborations?
On Tuesday, March 12, Wargön Innovation invited innovators and entrepreneurs with whom we collaborate within the project Innovation environment for sustainable production and circular flows to an event at our premises in Vargön. The purpose of the day was to inspire and encourage new collaborations between the entrepreneurs. The sustainability consultant Ellen Flybäck offered inspiration and future prospects while Gunn-Britt Reteike, business developer at Vänersborg Municipality, talked about the future plans for Wargön Industry and Innovation Park. Three workshops were held during the day, focusing on the textile circular value chain, the challenges and needs of entrepreneurs, and how discarded garments can be reused as high up the waste ladder as possible. The entrepreneurs were buzzing with ideas and conversations and when it was time to end the day, many stayed to talk further.
Thank you to all of you who made the day a great success! We look forward to the next opportunity to gather and exchange experiences.
The event is part of the project Innovation Environment for Sustainable Production and Circular Flows, a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Region Västra Götaland, Vänersborg Municipality and Fyrbodal Municipal Association.
