A revolutionary laundry product that reconditions your garments.
BioRestore has developed a single-use detergent that removes stains and restores the surface of garments to their original color. This extends the life of the garments. By reconditioning garments that would otherwise end up in the residual streams that are not in good enough condition for the Swedish second-hand market, a new opportunity is created to resell the garment.
WI x BioRestore
At Wargön Innovation, BioRestore receives support in developing its production process. The purpose is to investigate what a large-scale production process can look like, and evaluate aspects such as time consumption, work environment, equipment, etc. Our textile evaluators sort out, scan, wash and handle garments selected for reconditioning using BioRestore's product. These garments are then analyzed to form the basis for further development of the product.
In a collaboration between Wargön Innovation, BioRestore and Sellpy, our textile appraisers have scanned, washed and handled a number of garments for BioRestore to be sold on Sellpy's platform in updated condition. This collaboration explores how the value of reconditioned garments changes and how they are received by Sellpy's customers.
