What can become of a pair of jeans?

Denim is one of our most iconic and beloved materials. Since the first jeans were launched in the 19th century, the durable material has followed us through the decades and become a true fashion favorite. Behind this beloved material lies a dark side, but also amazing possibilities. Thanks to its durable properties, denim can be reused time and time again. And the ability to recycle the material is key to minimizing its environmental impact.

The work is part of the project Innovation Environment for Sustainable Production and Circular Flows, a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Region Västra Götaland, Vänersborg Municipality and Fyrbodal Municipal Association.
